This was the first time I camped here and it was exceptional. An employee met me at the office and escorted me to my site, then guided me in to the space. I was in space 19 by the river. We had plenty of room for our RV and our toad in the space. The area was clean and well maintained. I had a minor problem with my RV while there and went to the office to ask for assistance. Someone was at my site within 20 minutes and solved my problem within about 5 minutes. There is very friendly staff. They came around later in the evening and made a check of my hookups to make sure everything was done right. I will definitely stay here again.

First time in this park but, we loved it. There is a whole new section of full hookup sites that were completed in May 2007. We had a nice site with a great view of the lake. It had a new bathroom/shower facility in the middle of the area. There are lakefront sites available that have electric/water. There is a dump station at the entrance to the park. The only thing that was lacking was the swim beach. The sand did not go all the way to the water and there were rocks at the edge of the water. We will definitely go here again. Rifle Falls State Park is 4 miles up the road and has beautiful falls & about 14 sites.
